Welcome to Crime and Palmistry! My name is Emma Bradley, and I have been exploring western palmistry for several decades. I have found that exploring palmistry from many different angles has resulted in many insights, and I have been aided in my explorations by my friend Gray Laird, who is currently in advanced classes in Hasta ( the vedic form of palmistry). Recently we were going over a selection of palm prints of criminals and it occurred to us that focusing our attention in this area would be very interesting.
Palmistry is a vast field of study. We hope that by looking at one corner of it we will gain insights that will illuminate the whole. It allows us to understand what makes people tick and I have found no more compassionate way of viewing the human condition than palmistry.
We would like to be able to share our insights with you and so we have attempted to create a site that is user friendly. Palmistry Within Your Grasp will eventually hold the basics of palmistry. Hand Analysis and Criminology will be just that, discussions about criminology using hand analysis. Letters To Laird is my blog, The Gray area is Gray’s blog. Book reviews are pretty self explanatory, reviews on palmistry books.
Both Gray and I have busy lives so please be patient with us while we build this site. We will eventually have the ability to receive questions and hand prints or photos of hands. I look forward to being able to exchange ideas and information with you.
Cheers, Emma
WARNING-WARNING-WARNING
Approach this and all palmistry sites with caution. You do not know who is giving you information.Don’t assume. Check your information out in books and at other sites. Look for teachers. Trust your instincts.
Palmistry is a complicated subject and needs to be treated with great respect. The hand must be read as a whole to be understood. Palmistry books and teachers break palmistry down into individual aspects to facilitate teaching, but one quality in the hand cannot be looked at separately from the rest of the hand. It is the interaction of all the parts of the hand that reveal the personality.
Some branches of palmistry are oracle or future predicting. Handle these with care. None of us are God and we cannot know the future. Palmistry is a place to start, a jumping off point. Sometimes we as palmists can point the way but in my opinion it is irresponsible to present the future in a definitive way. The human spirit is always evolving. How can anyone know what the culmination of a thousand thoughts and choices will be?
Finally if you do read hands, BE KIND. People are listening. You will have an impact. And if you use palmistry to impress people or gain power over them I will personally release the GREMLINS OF DOOM upon you!!!!
Sincerely, Emma Bradley
